Your baby is turning one! They are growing so quickly and their first birthday is such a celebratory milestone. A cake smash is such a popular and fun way to celebrate your child’s first birthday.
For those considering a cake smash photoshoot in Surrey, these sessions are fun filled and such an enjoyable experience for your child and the whole family. Lots of fun and laughter will be had. First birthday photoshoots at my studio in Pyrford, Woking, Surrey are perfect to celebrate and capture these special moments with photographs you will love forever.
Cake Smash sessions can take approximately 1 hour, allowing time for pre-cake classic portraits, the fun cake smash, and then time for splashing in the bath to get clean!
We begin the session with lots of fun, including playing with bubbles and toys that I have in the studio. Then comes the messy part, the cake. Any left will be boxed up for you.
All cake smash sessions include a cake. All allergies are catered for. Please simply mention your requirements at the time of booking.
Looking for a sugar-free celebration? I also offer a fruit smash or we can do without a cake and keep it more simple and less messy.
My cake smash sessions will focus on minimal decor so your attention is drawn to the child captured. They focus on the baby’s personality and family connections rather than elaborate sets.
No session is ever rushed, and is always led by your child Allowing them time to adjust to the new environment and me, so they are happy and comfortable at all times.
Approximately two weeks following your session, you’ll return to the studio for your viewing and ordering appointment. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see your final gallery of beautifully captured moments. You can select from a range of products and packages that best resonate with you and your family’s preferences. There is no obligation to buy or minimum spend: you only buy what you love.
To secure a session, a £45 session fee needs to be paid. The session fee includes the cake and any decorations required.
