How do I Book and Secure a Newborn Session

Many people wonder when and how to secure a newborn session, as they often worry their newborn may not arrive on their due date.  Most newborns I have photographed have not arrived on time!  This is why, when you book a newborn session, we book in a provisional date for the week after your due date, and as I only book a certain amount of newborns a month, this allows me the flexibility to move the session accordingly.

I ask parents to contact me within 48 hours of the birth of their baby, so we can schedule in a time and date for the session, incase they have arrived early or late.  Additionally, we can check all is well with mum and baby and make sure the session is suitable for all.

I would advise to book a newborn session after your 20 weeks scan to guarantee a session as I do book up quickly and once your little one has arrived, you will be so busy, its one less thing to worry about if organised and booked in advance, Most newborns are best photographed between 6-14 days, although, please do not worry if you miss this time frame as I have photographed newborns up to 5 weeks before.
