WHEN TO BOOK YOUR NEWBORN SESSION
The first two weeks of your baby’s life present an ideal window for newborn photography. During this period, newborns tend to be more sleepy and flexible, allowing for those classic curled-up poses that capture their earliest days. Flexible Booking to Suit Your Needs
We understand the unpredictable nature of new parenthood and offer a booking system designed to accommodate this:
- Limited Monthly Sessions: We schedule only a few newborn sessions each month, ensuring each family receives personalised attention and a calm, unhurried experience.
- Availability for Early Arrivals: We maintain some flexibility in our schedule to accommodate unexpected early deliveries.
Our goal is to work with you to capture these fleeting moments, creating lasting memories of your newborn’s earliest days. Each day brings new changes, and we’re here to help preserve this special time in beautiful photographs.

HOW TO BOOK YOUR NEWBORN SESSION
As baby’s never arrive on time (unless you have a planned C-Section) we don’t finalise the session date till they arrive. When you are ready to book we will then make a tentative booking based on your estimated due date, then confirm the final date of the shoot when baby has arrived.
The session usually take between 2-3 hours, ensuring plenty of time for feeding, soothing and cuddles if needed. No session is ever rushed, and is always baby led.
Every session includes family and sibling images – these in my opinion are the most treasured images!

Approximately two weeks after your newborn’s photography session, we’ll welcome you back to our studio for a viewing and ordering appointment. This session is designed with your comfort in mind:
- Relaxed Atmosphere: Take your time to view and select your favourite images at your own pace.
- No-Pressure Environment: There’s absolutely no obligation to make a purchase during this appointment.
- Guided Selection: We’re here to assist you in choosing the perfect portraits, should you desire any help.

As a newborn photographer near Ripley, my studio is nestled in Pyrford, Surrey. My studio is a safe haven designed with newborns and their families in mind. This welcoming space allows you to relax and enjoy your session while I capture precious moments. I’ve carefully curated every detail for your comfort and your baby’s well-being: from providing hot and cold drinks for parents, to offering facilities for warming or cooling baby bottles. All props, blankets, headbands, and wraps are sourced from specialist vendors, ensuring natural fibers that are gentle on your newborn’s delicate skin. Conveniently located, my studio welcomes clients from across Surrey, including Woking, West Byfleet, Weybridge, Cobham, Guildford, and the surrounding areas.
