What is a sitter session? Baby Photographer Surrey
Many clients visit for a newborn session or a 1st birthday shoot, but, the one milestone that is often overlooked is – the sitter session!
These sessions are suitable for when your baby can sit unaided but not yet walking. This varies with each baby, but it generally falls somewhere between 6-10 months of age.
I adore this age as their personalities start to shine through and a sitter session is a great way to capture those expressions and beautiful smiles.
I keep these sessions simple. It’s all about the baby. You can bring your own outfits if you wish, or I have a selection you can choose from.

This welcoming space allows you to relax and enjoy your session while I capture precious moments. I’ve carefully curated every detail for your comfort and your baby’s well-being: from providing hot and cold drinks for parents, to offering facilities for warming or cooling baby bottles. All props, blankets, headbands, and wraps are sourced from specialist vendors, ensuring natural fibers that are gentle on your newborn’s delicate skin.
