Being a new mum is such a wonderful experience, but life changing. Some Days it can be overwhelming and lonely.  

Exercise is a great way to boost your mood and an opportunity to socialise and meet new mums, who understand what you are going through.  Many of the exercise classes, are for mums and babies, so perfect for your little one to meet other babies and start interacting.

With Summer on the horizon, why not think about an outdoor exercise class.  Nothing beats being out in the fresh air! Alternatively, many of the indoor classes are starting to slowly resume.

FUN MUMS FITNESS

With classes in Woking and  Guildford, if you don’t have childcare, they have classes where you can bring your baby along, or if you would like some time out for yourself, you could consider one of the evening classes.

Their workouts are designed to teach you safe postnatal strength training.  They offer tailored advice and workout tips to make the session work for you.

MATERNALLY FIT

They run classes for pregnant and postnatal mums.  Each class is individually tailored to your fitness needs and abilities.

Classes are one hour in duration and consist of both cardio-vascular fitness and strength training. Classes are based around the use of the exercise ball and hand weights.

Classes have a particular focus on core stability and pelvic floor training.

The sessions are taken by Sarah Brimble, a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, who has been specialising in ante- and post natal exercise for over two years.
