Weybridge Newborn Photographer: A Newborn Studio Session

My aim with all newborn sessions, is to make the time spent in my studio as relaxed and as stress-free as possible.  I always want my parents to enjoy the session and not worry about the little things like will their baby sleep or need feeding frequently etc – as I tell all my clients, we work around their newborn and if we need to stop for a feed or to take a break, then that’s what we do.  Hence, I allow 4 hours for each newborn session so nothing is rushed.

When a client first arrives, we will discuss the session and look at the props they can choose from. Before I begin, I will offer refreshments and then the parents can sit back and relax and watch me at work.

A newborn session normally starts with the beanbag shots. I have numerous blankets and outfits in a variety of colours for clients to choose from, and during the pre – consultation, colours and styling will be discussed.

After the beanbag shots, we move onto props.  During a session, we will use a minimum of 2 props, and clients get to choose from the selection I have. If a client has a sentimental item that they would like to include in the image, this is the time that we would use this.

All sessions finish with the parent shots. If parents do not want to be in the images, we can do images using their hands.

I have been fully trained in newborn photography and at all times during the session, your newborn is in safe hands.
