When is the best time to book a newborn photography session?

The ideal time to book in for your newborn photography session is after your 20 weeks scan.  It is best to photography babies under 2 weeks old, so if you leave it till your newborn arrives, often you will struggle to find a newborn photographer or you will be so busy taking care of your new baby, that you don’t find the time to get those photographs done.

If you pre-book your session, you can alleviate these worries.  I get booked up in advance, so by securing a session I can guarantee you a slot.  We would provisionally book in a session a week after your due date, however, when your little one arrives, we would move the session dependent on whether they are on time.,
